Award for the Slovak Strela

At the end of the week, we simply must tell you about the beautiful award for our colleagues in our company TATRA TRUCKS. On Tuesday, on behalf of the trio of Mr. Jan Jurkovič for Tatra Trucks, Jiří Střechy, an expert restoration guarantor, and restorer Jan Palas, received an award from the Director General of the National Heritage Institute for saving the engine of the Slovak Strela railway car. The rescue of this unique monument was the initiative of the owner of our group PROMET, Mr. René Matera, and Mr. Jaroslav Strnad of the CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP, which is now owned by his son. We are very happy not only for this beautiful project, but that it was also appreciated by the top experts in our country. Congratulations not only to our colleagues, but to all those recognized in the Patrimonium pro futuro award ceremony, which is held annually by the National Heritage Institute. We would also like to thank all the nominees for their efforts in helping to create a beautiful and responsible Czech Republic.
