Castings from the Vsetín region go to America
Our company PROMET PREFIX, which deals with machining, dispatches tonne castings to the whole world. The latest order is waiting for its first trip overseas. Gearboxes for an American customer.
Each weighs 1,250kg and, once the electric motor is delivered, they will be used to crush pellets and produce powder for heating. Another type will produce pellets for animals.
- The castings were made by colleagues in our sister company PROMET FOUNDRA.
- In PROMET PREFIX they were processed to the exact final form.
- The first batch of ten pieces will go to the Netherlands.
- From there, the engine skeletons will be shipped to all parts of the world.
- We plan to produce 100 of them in Ratiboř in a year.
- We will produce two types of gearboxes. The bigger one weighs 2 tons!
We can produce complex cast components for electric motors in the order of tens of kilos up to one-tonne castings thanks to our many years of experience.
And what is our biggest advantage?
We have the PROMET FOUNDRY foundry and the PROMET PREFIX machining plant in one place. We are connected by the VSETÍNSKO region. Together with the trading company PROMET CZECH we form the metallurgical division of the PROMET GROUP.
