The Kopřivnice Museum celebrated its first anniversary of operation in November and has already won two prestigious awards during its short existence. Last year, it received an award from the Moravian-Silesian Region in the category Initiative of the Year 2021 in tourism, and this year in May it received the important Gloria musaealis Prize, which is the Oscar among museum workers.
The museum’s modern exposition offers nearly 80 Tatra commercial vehicles and trucks. The exhibits are supported by large graphic and information areas, video mapping and elements of enhanced reality. The new truck museum is an addition to the existing Tatra Technical Museum, which is dedicated to Tatra passenger cars. Be sure to come and see these engineering gems and you can also visit our unique national cultural monument Slovak Strela, which is located in the Depository next door to the new museum.
