Pavilion for amphibians for Ostrava ZOO
The foundations are ready! A pavilion for amphibians will be built on them, which will have a facade resembling the colouring of a newt. We started building this interesting structure at the Ostrava Zoo in January. Visitors will be able to see the 22 million amphibarium right from the parking lot, as it will be built near the main entrance.

The VAMOZ CONSTRUCTION team will build the pavilion by mid-October this year. It will then be equipped with aquariums and terrariums. The amphibians, which are among the most endangered group of vertebrates on Earth, will move in next January.
"The pavilion will have an unconventional shape of an incomplete octagon, which will be divided into a cold and a warm part, and there will be an outdoor pond in the middle of the pavilion. Thanks to this project, the Ostrava Zoo will be able to keep exotic amphibians from practically every corner of the world. Such buildings make sense to us," says Dalibor Mata, director of VAMOZ CONSTRUCTION.
We like and appreciate the cooperation with the Ostrava Zoo very much. In the past we have built an administrative building here, we have reconstructed an aviary for birds from Papua and many other smaller buildings.
