Recruitment for internship at PROMET PREFIX
With the new school year, our recruiters have started the traditional courtship. We went to the Josef Sousedík Secondary School in Vsetín to find skilled apprentices.
We offered professional practice to skilled metalworkers and mechanics/adjusters of the second year. "The students of this school have been coming to us for vocational practice during their studies for the second year already. From the second semester onwards, they get acquainted with the environment of our company, with the machinery and undergo training such as workpiece inspection, technology, machine programs or working with drawing documentation," says Eva Jankovská, HR manager at PROMET PREFIX. She adds: "The third-year pupils attend the apprenticeship from October to April. The aim is to master the operation of machine tools and basic work operations under the guidance of an instructor. And the whole purpose of the cooperation is to help schools prepare students for practice and to better adapt them to their future profession in the given field."
During their apprenticeship with us, students develop their professional and social skills. They learn to mill, turn, grind and drill, or read technical drawings and measure to the hundredth of a millimetre. At the same time, they take responsibility for their projects, learn to work as part of a team and, in the best cases, are motivated and willing to continue their education. After completing their apprenticeship in our machine shop, they are well prepared for the work process and will always find a job with us as metalworkers or machinists.
