TAWESCO uses unique technology worth CZK 232 million
Only two mills in the Czech Republic have a SCHULER transfer press with a pressing force of 2,500 tonnes and TAWESCO is one of them. The top German technology is absolutely unique in its technical compilation. You will not find the same anywhere in the world.

However, it also took almost a year to commission and select it, and it took just as long to produce. We have been using the line happily since 2021.
This little thing weighs a total of 610 tonnes and is 44 metres long. It presses parts for cars led by Škoda Auto, Volkswagen and Seat, as well as parts for trucks, for example for Daimler. These include reinforcements, pillars, door frames, rear fascias, wind deflectors, lights, etc.
OTHER INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE LINE:
- 7.7 metres high, 6 metres underground
- The press tool can hold up to 60 tonnes
- You can see a total of 82 tons in motion (ram + top tool) at speeds of up to 30 strokes per minute
UNIQUENESS OF TECHNOLOGY:
The main part of the line is a servo of 2500 tons force. Thanks to the new design (Twin Servo Technology), it has all the drive and transmission equipment in the underground part. The ram is thus pulled and not pushed as in most presses. The press itself is equipped with transfer brackets for transferring parts. The material is conveyed to the press either by a sheet metal feeder or by a sheet metal unwinding device for the coils of sheet metal that can be cut during the pressing process.
